Rive Gauche refers to the southern bank of the river Seine, otherwise known as the Left Bank or Rive Gauche in french. The area is synonymous with bohemian style, which Saint Laurent pays homage to with its tote bag, emblazoned with ‘Rive Gauche’ lettering on the front.
