Jordans can be considered as one of the founding shoes behind modern sneaker culture. It takes a very special shoe to still be popular decades after its initial release. The Air Jordan 11 sneakers were created to be more lightweight in construction and the pair were released just before Michael Jordan decided to come out of retirement in 1995.
